I'm in the process of upgrading my tail lights, but I'm not able to get the tail light pod covers off from inside the rear claim. I have removed the two screws that attach the pod to the clam, but my clam has a Line-X covering...which was sprayed over the tail light pods. I think I'm going to have to cut through the Line-X to remove the pods, but I don't know where to cut. Might anyone have any pictures of the pods that I could use for reference? Thanks!

The housing the lamp is fitted to is one complete entity with only the screw and cable holes connecting front to back.
On that basis I would guess the lamps have been set in a bed of sealant when they were fitted.
To get them out try pushing through the screw holes and see if they will pop out.

Do you have reversing lights? or are you going to enable the reversing light on the new cluster?

Here is a pic from the build manual so you can see the housing is part of the rear clip moulding.

So once the nuts have been remove the lamp unit should just fall out unless it has been put in with sealant.

no need for sealant.. lamps are sealed... there might be a rubber bead arround outside of lamp as finisher but i stick mine to lamp.. not lamp and body
