Sounds nuts! What HP/boost is that? I have an LSA Monaro with a TVS2300 supercharger making about 820HP. Modified rear end to take 285 tyres and mine too has RLTC (amazing tool). Mine's a fair bit heavier than your TVR and traction limited, even in the dry but the traction control comes into its own in the wet. No point adding more power (as much as I want to) as it will just make the electronics work harder. As you say, 100mph wheelspin is neither fun or useful.

I'd love a Sagaris with an LS7 though smile
Hi,

I know your car I'm a Monaro forum daily lurker as well smile

Didn't realise you were upto 820hp! What boost is that ??

I have been turning mine up and I am now running a bar of boost on my high (drag) map. Not sure on power but have a chance this weekend there is a mobile dyno at a TVR meet so might throw it on. Its a fully forged bottom end so I might keep going yet depends what time I can do at the strip I need 10's in my life which it should do smile Mine is quite light.

An ultima has the tyres/weight etc everything is just right a turbo one is going to be INSANE!

Mine's at 14psi boost (1 bar) also which is about as much as the blower will make on pump fuel. Tried spinning it faster but it just makes heat which is counterproductive. Engine is fully forged and would take over 1000hp if I went with turbos but it would be too expensive to do it all over again and to be honest it's plenty fast enough. You get to a point where it all gets too much and just isn't nice to drive anymore. I learned that with my previous stroker which ate itself at Bruntingthorpe. Your TVR must be mad but you should get some wider tyres on it!
