What's the best/safest method of removing the chassis with body and wheels from my tresles? The tresles are about 18" high.

A group of 6-8 guys and some packs of beers might be fine for this task!

But you should remove first the front and the rear parts of the body.

I used my telescopic forklift. Easy to do even on my own.

However, someone told me that not everyone has their own forklift, so the blokes and beer approach may be your best bet.

Since I built mine on 4 axle stands, only a jack was required!

I set up an engine crane with lifting sling at the rear with one person to remove the build dolly/trestles as three of us held up then lowered the front end. Front and rear bodywork was off.
