Can anyone please provide some tips on fitting the centre section of the body work. It seems almost impossible to get the dash to spring under the horizontal chassis tube and for the front lip to go over the front bulkhead.

It's been done many times before so I was hoping someone might be able to provide a few pointers.

Bravery. laugh

When I fitted my centre section the key to success was starting from a horizontal position and tipping the nose down around 30 degrees and bringing forwards just enough get the front lip over the bulkhead. From there the rear of the section was lowered slightly with a third assistant in the car 'springing' the lip of the dash section towards the rear. At this point the nose popped back up but was easily nudged down as the remainder of the centre section was lowered. It made some odd noises but apart from that it went well and is all intact. Just watch out for securing studs in the side pods contacting the GRP, I covered mine with pieces of fuel hose until the section rested on them, then removed to lower fully.

Factory advised to minimise the amount of times the centre section was taken off and put on so just went with the first attempt.
