Newbie

Hi all, its been a long time since i posted on PH and subsequently forgot my old username and password so started a new account.

So in the new year ish i am hoping to join the Ultima community and with the lack of a dedicated forum it seems this is the best place to be.

I have recently sold my Harrop stage 4 supercharged VX200 running a little north of 350hp so not unfamiliar with little weight and decent hp and looking
to take the next step up imho.

I am based in Poole, Dorset and wondering if there are any local meets (maybe not in this weather) so i can chat to some owners and get a feel for the direction i want to head. I dont intend to build, but buy 2nd hand and make my own. I am looking to make use of the car in full so intend to carry on attending many track days so spec will be important, at least the basic options for making it work well on track.

If there are any locals that want to show off their pride and joy i would appreciate a chat

I think there are 1 or 2 owners down your way but not sure of meets.

Do you have a budget in mind for when you’re ready to take the plunge?

My budget is not firmly fixed but somewhere around £40K

Are you on the FB Owners group? I feel that's one reason its a little slower on here but this place is an amazing knowledge base for information. When I looked to buy I basically went back and clicked on a ton of articles to read!

If you are struggling, there is usually a big gathering of owners and Ults at the Stoneleigh kit car show 1st may ish.
