I spotted this as well and have been speaking to the Guy in the UK as I bought a Motec M150 ecu to manage the V10 a while back.

Seems he has done exactly what I need for a stand alone system on a manual box, can either make a new loom from scratch for you, or modify a standard BMW loom.... and he is relatively local to me

AutoBionics are half way through putting a BMW V10 into an Ultima but I think it’s on the back burner at the moment.

but I do not think you can easily have many hp, a difference of LS series....

Auto Bionics have just mated a Porsche PDK gearbox to the back of the V10 Racingrog. Not sure if it’s going in an Ultima as it was on a stand but should be quite a thing when finished. I saw it this weekend when I collected some machined parts from them.

I would love to see it finished Ian. Especially with the PDK and all their other tasty bits.

It's only one piece of the puzzle, to get the BMW V10 running off it's M5/M6 home.
There are numberous challenges, when you try putting it into an Ultima.
Which gearbox, fuel system, oil system, cooling system, exhaust system, substancial chassis mods.....
everything has to bee engineered....
it takes a long time to get it finished.

Im sticking a manual behind my V10... the wife insisted on it and wouldn't even let me consider DSG of any kind, saved me a fortune lol
