Certainly not a shrinking violet. I have to wonder what it's performance stats are.

This is my ultima. The car looks a bit different today. He starts several times a year on various tracks / Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria / especially at the Poznań track. Currently, it is officially a Pirelli Poland demonstration car. Modified several times. Sorry for my English!!!
best regards

Great!, did you do the work? I am trying to find out the fabrication of the fin mount that joins the fin to the rear engine cover, looks like it is well constructed.

Thank you. This fin is made of carbon fiber. It is a part independent of the engine cover. On this long air grip / black carbon / there are two thin carbon fiber strips. The slats are inserted into the slats and bolted with special very durable plastic screws. The fin can be removed at any time. In the place where the fin connects with the spoiler / without touching the spoiler / glued are two angles to which is also a screw attached to the fin. This ensures that the fin does not oscillate at high speeds.

some detailed pictures of what you have done with the rear spoiler and some insight into what you felt it might accomplish would be really interesting. Lee

Nice job! Looks like a serious bit of kit. What engine does it have? Have you a build site/page?

Word of warning for anyone wanting to put vents in the clam like above ( obviously not an issue for above car). Will help engine cooling no end, but you need to be aware that these can generate lift and worst case will lift the clam and cause a nasty accident especially at speed. You absolutely must uprate the clam pins and mounts so its fool proof and stonger than the clam itself. smile

Gentlemen, thank you for your interest. Some general information. The car is 2008. The first AS 406 "720HP. B engine
troublesome beast. Continuous regulations and unbearable emissions. I exchanged for the LS7 700 Hp and after several races I spied the valve spring. Complete engine destruction. The next engine also LS 7 about 745HP. He works beautifully. In 2016, I replaced headlights for the LED set and forgot to replace damaged bulbs. I installed RAPTOR - perfect equipment. I changed the clutch pump on the MPL, the clutch is a bit lighter and does not require a "wooden leg" The whole car was varnished, it was after a few minor incidents. Forgeline wheels and tires, of course, PIRELLI Corsa or the TROFEO race. In my opinion, TROFEO are currently the best tires in the world. Because I had a lot of trouble with the temperature of the engine at the front of the radiator I installed an additional fan and two small fans under the engine cover cooperating with a fan placed on the radiator of fuel / cavitation. The side air intakes on the engine cover give a perfect ventilation effect in the engine compartment in cooperation with the fans. The carbon fiber cover provides an air grip on the roof and supplies 100% to the air filter. This type of air recharge. The whole is perfectly mounted and tested at speeds from 290-305 km / h.

Lee, Lots of data on the rear fin, keeps the car flatter in high speed turns. Force is applied on one side of fin > for example in right hand turn, more wind pushes on left side of fin (facing wind) which pushes down right side of car (car is flatter, than without fin).

I will try to take a picture of the fin fasteners. Actually, you have to change the locks that hold the lid and I did it and it's got the Confusionhunter right in this case.
But good attention is .... Evolutionism, the car runs like a string.
I am a cop - anti-terrorist in retirement and this car gives me a lot of fun, but now he is terrorizing me.
When driving, you really need to hold it by the face.

Thank you! Yes, all external elements are made of carbon fiber. In addition, we carried out the discharge of hot air under the front hood.
I had the opportunity, together with military engineers, to observe that the hot air from the fans causes turbulence in the place where there is a battery and clutch and brake pumps. Some 70% of them get outside but 30% do not. Hence the idea. It turned out to be a good idea because I do not feel the hot air in the cabin. It really works! I had a lot of trouble with the cavitation of fuel. we made small covers on the floor with ventilation holes. When the car was standing in a traffic jam and the asphalt was hot, it was enough for 3 minutes for the fuel pump to heat up and the fuel cavitated.

Are you saying, this area in yellow should be closed off, to reduce cabin heat?

When I built my Ultima I fitted an aluminium panel there, attached with rivnuts. I definitely think it reduced cabin heat.
