Silverstone Classic 2018

Folks,
I spoke with Richard not all that long ago and the Factory will be concentrating on fulfilling their customer orders rather than attending the Silverstone classic this year. Its good they are keeping busy to keep the community growing! So the Silverstone classic event will be down to us owners to organise this year. The factory will however be at the Stoneleigh kit car show this year.
So in the interests of gauging what can and can't be done in terms of our owners club attending Silverstone this year:
Who is interested in being on a stand (yet to be organised)? I myself may be there one day but unfortunately not in the Ult as Im travelling from a family wedding.
The factory have been three years in a row (4?) and the number of owners have been dwindlining so perhaps a break isnt a bad thing so we can come back the following year with a bigger better organised Owners stand. Thoughts?

The factory dont work after 3pm on a friday or at weekends, so Im not sure why Richard said that..
They cant concentrating on full filling orders when they are shut or when at Silverstone classic at a weekend,
i can only comment now being an ex- owner, however feel the factory open day was always a worth while day, for owners and future owners.
The Silverstone classic is a great day, but costly as tickets expensive, especially if you bring the Ultima as low MPG and i dont think Richard likes watch racing.
if the factory arent attending, i feel current owners will feel wanted if the open day starts again, otherwise they will feel unwanted, and unappreciated owners will dwindle, and the sales will decrease.
such a shame... im there anyway as i get free tickets..
