Has anyone fitted the Summit Raptor into their Gtr, was it an easy install ?
I’m trying to do all the electrics and extra mechanical modifications before the body goes on.

We have installed a Raptor in y GTR build and paired it to a Motec PDM. This combo requires a bit of programing but the abilities to control multiple functions is impressive. Only the A.C. controls will be controlled by other than the steering wheel. lee

I have one but it's not yet connected. I'm doing away with the battery and will hard wire a direct 12v supply. For the moment I haven't found a way for the wiring apart from a coil type cable between the unit and the receiver as the steering colomn is not hollow allowing wires to pass through. What about drilling a hole in the steering column?

Thanks for the replies,
It was more information on the control box end where it connects to the wiring loom that I was after. I have some information regarding the steering column and it is in fact hollow right up to the steering wheel mounting disc, (had to cut and weld mine for the power steering) the splined end has plug about 100mm long inside the tube and welded to it.

I've been using Raptor for two years. In my opinion, it is the best device on the market. No problems or troublesome repairs. Only you need to keep a reserve battery in your car. Simple to connect to receivers existing in the car.
good luck in assembly.

Hard wiring mine to do away with the battery. Also don't know what the authorities would say if all the important road security related signals are dependant on a battery operated system scratchchinnono

Hi, before the authorities find out, the battery shows that it should be replaced. Nothing abruptly stops working. You have a light signal that the battery is already weak and you need to replace it, but from the moment I see the signal I can do a dozen or so connections. That works really well.

Purchased a Raptor from the factory, had a few problems trying to work out how to wire it all up, I have the Gtr loom. Spoke to Richard at Ultima who made some time for David to explain the mods needed to bring the wiring up to new spec , what a star, massive thanks to Ultima for the help and advise, it’s rare for companies to back their products up once they have your cash these days.
