After some unnecessary US 'logistics' delivery drama, mine finally arrived!

Gotta give kudos to Richard and Team Ultima for carrying on during these trying times and getting this thing delivered. All the good I've ever heard about Ultima was true. Cannot thank them enough! And the car looks insane in person. Absolutely brilliant across the board.

Did you crawl into the cockpit bod panel, put your hands out in front of you, and make small block noises...hehe

Got mine July 14th. Coming along a little slower than I'd hoped due to other obligations but so far, so good!

I presume you virtually need to be an experienced mechanic to be able to build these motors??

No. I normally suggest that general DIY skills are more relevant.
If you build to a Factory spec. pretty much all of the engineering has been designed into the kit. As soon as you start going your own way you will need both design and mechanical skills.

Thanks for this. How many hours do they estimate? Is it frustrating or theraputic... tongue out

Hours to completion probably varies greatly depending on the model, options, engine and your skill level. I heard 400 hours somewhere once but that seems fantastically optimistic. If I ever build a second one I could probably cut my time in half.

So far, totally therapeutic. You know that feeling you get when you put a shiny new part on a car? Its kinda like that over and over and over again.

I think there’s some frustrations along the way but they’re vastly outweighed by the good stuff.

I’d like to build another
