I was considering the yellow with black wheels and always told myself my next performance car would be canary yellow. The reason I went for the green was that I saw a picture of a Mercedes AMG GT R in a similar green that looked fantastic.

Hello Jack,
Have you received your RS yet? Mine is currently at the UK port and soon to ship to the US. I was originally expecting shipment around December but with COVID slow downs and me adding the pre-fit option it has taken much longer. It should arrive at the US port mid-April then go through customs and finally arrive by truck probably early May.

That said, I'm precariously close to being finished. If It's not running by December, I'm gonna be horribly disappointed in myself. I'll let you know when I'm headed that way, maybe I could stick my head in the door and check yours out!

Have you completed your build yet? If so how about registration and title? I am still waiting for mine to ship.

Not yet. It got cold here earlier than usual and (even with heat) keeping the garage at a temp for bond and seal to work was impossible. Stupid winter. According to the forecast I'll be able to begin again in earnest on Sunday.

Be sure to post some pics when you get your car. That green is killer!

Will do! I have been anticipating delivery for a long time now. I have my engine ready and should get my transmission next week.

Like you I don’t care for Facebook but there isn’t much traffic on this site. I broke down and registered for Facebook but limit who I accept friend requests from. There is a whole lot more information there than here.

So what has happened since you opened and started this thread? Have you received your RS and how is the build progressing?

hi,
construction is progressing well. we have almost finished the body (we did the prefit ourselves) the chassis is assembled. currently I am waiting for the side chests.
after that we can fix the pods, there is a little bit to do in the passenger compartment and we can finish the engine compartment. the car fits well without major difficulties.
We can finish this summer
