I'm looking for someone to diagnose & map an LS7 with E38 ECU. Engine is running but there's no throttle response. I'm in Warwickshire, thanks.

Your pedal's probably at fault. I had the same thing happen to me. A generic scanner should pick up the fault and confirm.

if it was running correctly before I would change the throttle position switch. You might wind up with a spare switch but that would seem to be the most likely issue. If this is a new build with no history of correct running before then it gets a bit deeper

We did an LS7 which had throttle problems. In our case it would accelerate to a certain point then go into limp mode. Turned out we somehow had the wrong pedal which was giving an incorrect resistance across the range.
As has been said a code reader should point to the problem.
We had another LS that came to us with the wrong throttle position sensor. It was reading backwards. Took some finding that one.

Thanks for the info guys ... got someone looking at it today. I'm still looking for someone to map the engine, currently the only place I know is Wortec.

Did you get sorted? I have a spare pedal you could try North Oxon/South Warks.

For tuning, Luis Sola

Unfortunately they couldn't map the engine, lambda values are too different on each bank so somethings not right. I must sing Wortec's praises, they've gone beyond what was asked spending all day without a break trying to fix the problem, so thanks to them. Back to base...

You're the second person today suggesting Luis Sola.

There is a post about him on here, where I recount my experiences. He's patient, very knowledgeable, helpful and a nice bloke.

Don't be put off by him being in Australia, he's usually answered my messages before I've worked out if I've sent it correctly smile
