That’s an incredible looking car, congratulations on a well executed plan. What’s it like to drive ?
Only ever had a passenger Ted ride, I’m probably a couple of years away from completion to find out.

Hi mate, first post here, about a year I bought an unfinished GTR from a bloke in Sydney who used to contribute here: GTR-Downunder/Miraz who in turned bought it from LS2Ultima. I've spent days going through old posts, it really is a gold mine. The facebook group is helpful but as you said, this is a seriously good resource.

The wiring diagrams posted by a member almost 20 years ago have been brilliant, I decided to pull the factory loom out and redo it for an LS, with a lot of functionality moved to a dedicated panel and, importantly, well labelled. I'm glad people are still posting here, albeit a lot less.

Hi and welcome aboard!

I was the guy who set up the FB page many moons ago (March 2013). Handed over the admin to others, but I still like to check out what's going on here which I believe remains to be the oldest Ultima forum, albeit for the "older" models

At this time, with PDMs,wireless steering wheels, and font end lift kits, If I were buying a new Ultima, I believe I would forgo the factory electric loom and go from scratch. Just My opinion

I’m still here, the GTR is almost 25 years old and still going strong. The important thing is that at 75 years old, I can still get in and out of it, and still finding things to do to it. Rear parking sensors are this years job.

Gentlemen I haven't been here for a long time. I built a GTR in 2008 with an Ls7 engine and I still drive it. It was the first car in Poland. And I think I broke the world record, because I'm 82. Maybe someone is older?

Wow, guess that certainly is a record. I have never heard of someone with that age still driving an Ultima. Congratulations!

Thank you. I not only ride but also race on several tracks in Europe and Poland. I often race Atom-Ariel 2 on various track days and I have no intention of resting. Nobody in the world rides an Atom at this age. Best regards

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to post this, but I'll give it a go.
I'm in the market to buy a used, high performance kit/classic car. My wishlist current contains the Ultima (preferably evolution) and a cobra replica. My preference is the Ultima. I would like an LS3 fuel injected engine with between 450 and 500 bhp but am flexible on that. There seems to be no shortage of Cobras to consider - Gardner Douglas, AK or Dax preferred, but I am finding it extremely difficult to source a suitable Ultima.
I've tried all the usual places such as here on Pistonheads, Autotrader etc, without much joy. If anyone here can assist in my search it would be very much appreciated.
