Just thought I'd post it here first. We've got a new name for the racing team (Ultima Racing in case you didn't figure it out from the subject), and we're in the process of gluing together a website - UltimaRacing.com. We're actually going to be running 2 cars next year. The Ultima, and another car with a nice chunky Rover V8, ahem, a Rover SD1. James

Don't Ultima have something to say about the name Slappster? Copyright infringement and all that.

Don't know. I didn't ask them. Actually, the website is going to be ultima-racing.com (which is on the caps and tee shirts we've had made up), and I don't think that they can complain about that, as we're racing an Ultima. If they kick up a fuss, we can always "re-brand". Edited by James on Thursday 1st February 17:15

Just seen a picture of Colin Blower's car, it looks great and he is going to build CBM customer versions with Ted Marlowe's blessing.

I'd heard that they were going to do customer cars. It sounds like Colin Blower and the factory are working pretty closely on the development of the car, which is good. It'll be nice to have a properly competitive car in GT racing showing off the marque.

Can't say I noticed any Wedges out on the track. Loads of Caterhams though. Shame that it was such a hot day. It got a tad moist and sweaty in the car.
