Slowly, I'm about 18 months away still I think. Next years plan is to have it complete bar the drivetrain, completion early 2010. When is your's going to show itself?

I cheated and bought a SBC car and just converted to LS7

The conversion is 90% there. Just need to tidy the wiring, sort out the aircon, make a nice air inlet for the kinsler stack and get the ecu map fine tuned for small throttle positions and the road. I'm targetting to have it usueable from beginning of April.

wow just looked at your SBC engined ultima on my cars... and a Lamborghini Murcielago as well in orange..... .... any jobs going...hahaha

think i will be doing the3 same, buying secondhand and modifying....so much cheaper on your pocket and quicker too

Just to add to this thread, GTR720s do exist.
I am the new owner of a 2,100 mile example with the build finished by the factory.
I wanted the 'famous car' that broke all the records.
I share the engine specification.

I really like the spring supports matching the body work. isn't it interesting how crooked the wing looks I measured it 18 ways from sunday on GTR1.0 thinking that I had installed it incorrectly but from some angles it just looks that way. Nice looking car.

Thanks. The wing supports are polished alloy. I think the reflection makes them look body coloured. I'm going to buy the taller version.

looking good in yellow but I'm biased as my GTR is yellow.
