However there is a downside to your car Jon.
For us that dont have your soon to be amazing car, its a little depressing knowing that its possible to make our Ultimas look that good, but knowing they never will. Ahh the depression!!!

I'm surprised no one has started trying to use the VAG W12 unit.... I bet they can be found cheap and we know they make power! Not sure how heavy they are though...
the w12 are know to be very thristy and without charger or turbo less powerful than a LS engine, so do not see any benefit but a more expensive ECU and header because of the 12 cylinders.....
Aren't they exceptionally small for the cylinder count and I would have thought sound great? In Bentley Continental GT form they are twin-turbo'd out of the crate with ~550bhp which I'm sure could be tweaked.

Again, I bet they weight lot though.

Front very very good, nicely detailed already now

site lots of work, will work out in the end.

don't like the direction you go on the back.

Maybe try something less open, also more detailed.

Keep going, like it a lot!!

Audi RS6 V10 biturbo with different turbo's give easy 1000+ hp

Sure, the Audi V10 would be my preference! Is the RS6 unit the 5.0 V10 that was shared with the original Gallardo as opposed to the S6 V10 which is the 5.2 V10 FSI that is also in the R8 and the newer Gallardo?

I'm quite surprised to see Underground Racing apparently getting 1500bhp out of them.... what with the 4WD transaxle at the back (R8/Gallardo) they've got to be darn strong units otherwise they'd just explode surely?

Thought it was time for a little update...

Pics are a few days old so pretty soon I should be getting pics that will be very close to what it will look like... ;-) I think the new lights look great, anyone who can identify them? ;-)

Hope you like!

awesome work jon and the team.

Roof scoop, is that a "one off" or an off the shelf item

also i would like to run side pods similar to these gtr's, but cant seem to find a source for them.

I did aload of investigatig into that bodywork (in fact that exact bodywork), with a certain SSS.

However depending on which fuel system and engine application you are running, those side pods are not possible. However if you are running the Audi engine, then the sky is the limit.

hi mark i would be very very greatful for you input regards the problems with using those pods with an LS engine, as that would probably be the choice, unless a fsi v10 came up at reasonable money, although already the goal posts are moving even at this early stage.

I think, and someone please correct me if im wrong here, is the fuelk tank location. With the SBC/LS engines you have to have the fuel ceels mounted in the standard location. With the audi V8s and i think V10s you can mount the fuel sell in fornt of the engine and therefoore free up the side pod area. Is that right everyone?.......

Chris.

Correct Chris, teh Audi allows it to be located inbetween the bulk head and the engine.

LS & SBC Application prevetn this without severe modification, so much in fact i was told to stop considering the idea.
