Argh, knew that would happen lol. At least I got the "free" soundbar I guess which I'd have bought anyway, or something equivalent although been impressed with the SH7 so far.advertised at 1699 but extra 100 off if you use code 100LSTV

Picked up the B6 today to replace our 7yr old Panasonic plasma, but watching Better Call Saul, whilst stunning, i couldn't help but notice the motion judder in lots of the movements, I then spent the episode looking out for it. Is there a way to counter this, or is it a case of "They all do that sir" and either suck it up and try to ignore it, or take it back.

There is a way. I was reading about it just the other day. Think it was on HOT UK deals. Sorry to be so vague. But there's definitely something you can do to fix it. If I come across it again, I'll post it here.Make sure it's updated, play with the settings a bit, turning off all post processing, then you can play around with TruMotion, most likely 'User' to find a level that smooths motion without making things look fake.
I didn't notice it in Better Call Saul though, I have mine set as off.

I think that stuff is per input so...
Yeah, will need to go through and make sure it's off for everything else, want to go through and set some of the settings to a recommended level, I'm sure there's some in this thread somewhere if I have a hunt, though I understand that due to the nature of an OLED screen, colour settings and the like will differ from set to set, so I'll just aim for a ballpark figure on those as I've read these are a little green-biased on the whole. What I did was to put on Better Call Saul again and watch the scenes where I noticed the artifacts and disable all of the post-processing and TruMotion and I couldn't see them anymore.
AV forums probably. Dedicated OLED section. Find your model thread.

I applied the settings AVForums used on their test model which they detail in this setup video here

Not as good as an actual calibration obviously but I'm finding the Expert Bright settings really good for normal TV viewing in daylight or with the living room light on, much better on low quality feeds (even SD) than the out-the-box settings and everything looks natural and not overly bright or too saturated. The only thing I did do is turn TruMotion back on to Clear as I noticed a bit of judder occasionally but that seems to have helped eradicate that.

Is the B6V still the TV to have with a maximum budget of £1,500ish? I think I probably need to move soon before stocks dry up.
I was also interested in the Sony 55xd93 but they have all gone. The replacement 55xe93 gets great reviews but is too expensive.
The panny 58 902b seems the other option

What would the pistonheads TV Gurus choice be with a budget of £1200 ?
Either a 1080p OLED or if you have to have 4k and HDR and £1200 is a max budget, the Sony 55XD9305. The thing is, now the gap between an LCD and OLED is only £400 it does seem a shame not to pay a bit more, when it was £1000 gap fair enough, but £400? Surely that is worth it so you don't get that "ooh, what if.....?" feeling?
Buy the LG 55B6 OLED from Very.co.uk, pay of £1200 tomorrow and pay the over £400 over the next 12 months.
At the time the £550 difference in price to the LG 55B6 was significant enough to me and whilst the LG's blacks are incredible, the Sony is better in several areas in my opinion. Both are great TVs with their own strengths and weaknesses.
I've been playing Battlefield 1 on my shiny new Xbox One S this evening and it looks utterly brilliant!
