Panasonic Blue Ray not recording

Recently moved from the Uk to Ireland and cannot record using times on disc recorder

The model is DMR-BS750EB, connected to a Panasonic TV.

Had a man connect the satellite dish yesterday and we can view Irish channels on the TV and satellite channels via the recorder

I can record satellite channels in real time using DIRECT TV RECORD function

Unfortunately, I cannot record using the timer on the recorder

Not very technically minded so any help offered will have to be simple.

Try doing a recording from the EPG on the recorder. Also check cables are all connected. If you are trying to do a recording without using the EPG you have to make sure you have the correct channel selected to record from.
