Sky deals anyone?
Discussion
I've just cancelled and signed up again as a new customer to get a decent deal (through my work benefits).
Sky Q 2TB box
Multiroom
All Channels (movies, sports, HD, Boxsets etc)
£20 one off payment and £57 a month.
There are deals to be had as a new customer... I signed up in a different name/email/bank account via ABCA systems (a 3rd party reseller) and it was never questioned.

Only thing available to existing customers is upgrade to Sky Q.
They never give discounts for continuation of products via the staff offers.
If that's what you want, then try phoning the retention team directly.
Cheers.
I've just moved house and moved my sky services with me, although no sky fibre at the moment at the new address. They never give discounts for continuation of products via the staff offers.

Cheers.
What is the existing customer offer on Sky Q?
Thanks

Yes. I've just done exactly this (from my wife's name/joint account to my name/account).
How does this work from a timing point of view? Cancellation period is 30 days. Did you open a new account in your wife’s name within this time period, wait until it had finished or time is perfectly so when the current service cut off, the new service was installed? Just thinking ahead and trying to manage so I am not without TV / Broadband if I do cancel and open a new account.wilbo83 said:

I'm coming off the back of a 60% + £50 credit deal = £37 per month and the best they could do was £45 per month. That's for HD.
I'm after Sky Q and wouldn't mind paying the £12 per month multiroom on my old subs i.e. £49 per month but they could only quote me £83 per month...
I wouldn't mind but in June when my contract expires, i would have been with them for 15 years and would get the Sky Q upgrade with free install, which is what i'm happy to pay for!
We'll see what happens over the next few weeks.
