Davie do you have any retention deals? Or is the conventional wisdom still to call up and "leave"?

In my experience yes, although she had to use her maiden name - suggested by the sky person we were talking to on the phone

Sorry mate, just new customers.

The 40% off is for either telly or telly and broadband. You’d need to enquire about the details of the package on contact.

My deal just ended but only noticed when 120 quid was taken from my account. Turns out I’m still under contract for 2-3 months so I need to bide my time before initiating the tedious threats to leave process. It usually works in fairness but same as insurance, i would lock in with a company for years if they would do a fair long term deal.

I managed to get 35 pm for all sports and the entertainment channels; didn't want films.

Seems like a good deal. I had to insist I was leaving to 3 layers of people before they offered it. First offer was £65pm!

Thanks Davie

Used the offer to sign up today. Had to do it over the phone as I couldn’t use the link but that’s possibly because I’m in Singapore at the moment.

Surprisingly, before the offer code was applied the price with a few discounts already added here and there by the cust services lady wasn’t a million miles away - so I was already going to get a pretty good deal, it seems!

I’m an engineer for sky and could possibly help some of you that are existing customers that want to upgrade your current tv packages.

We get a lot of ‘engineer exclusive’ deals that we can do for our customers.

Few examples of current offers:

Complete sports package with HD £13 pm
Sky cinema £8 pm
Ultimate on demand (box sets & Netflix) free for 2 months - then £12 pm - if you have Q multiroom it’ll be a Netflix premium account.
Kids package free for 2 months - then £5 pm
Q multiroom £9 pm and first mini box free (normally there’s an upfront payment for the box)

Any questions or queries, drop me a PM

I'm not really looking to upgrade unless it is cheaper, I'm a Sky VIP who out of contract and currently have the entertainment package £13/£27, HD £1/£5, multi screen £12/£13 and was paying £26pm, and now have paid £45pm for the 2nd month running.
My services will end the 1st week in August, I have been offered to renew the same package for £33, should I, could I get a better deal?

Owen-nic can you PM me.

Have been too lazy at the end of contract and seemingly now paying £80 a month to only have Sky F1 and multi-room as extras, no internet or phone.
