music speaker advice needed if poss
Discussion
I can't believe how far behind I am with the latest tech, especially these new speakers that stream music, so I could do with a recommendation or two of what to get.
I have a small 3 story house and would like a speaker on the second floor landing where we have small office space and one downstairs that would sit in the lounge. I would ideally like them to be connected and to be able to work separately if poss, and for them to play music off my phone and eventually my computer.
The amazon echo sounds good but it just doesn't seem big enough to provide a decent sound? I have also looked at the yamaha system but that would be at the top and over the other side of my tiny budget.
Can anyone recommend anything ?

Assuming you have decent wi-fi, you could get a couple of 2nd hand B&W Zeppelin Mk1s off Ebay for ~£100 each, connected to 2 off Chromecast audios for ~£25 each. Configure the set up using the Google Home app. They can be played seperately, or sync together.
Total outlay ~£250 and a great multi-room system that will more than meet your needs.
