Hi, Anyone know of a HD USB video streamer that has HDMI and RCA audio output? I have bought a projector I intend to setup as a garden cinema, the idea was to use my old WD TV box to output HDMI to the projector and RCA output to the aux port on a crappy old hi-fi system I got lying around. But the WD TV box has decided to act up and switch itself off every 2 mins. I connected the projector to my laptop and am well pleased with the picture side of things, but I need audio...

cheers Jason.

I have a WDTV Live you can have for a donation to this: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/gsudron

Nothing wrong with it, just moved on to an Amazon TV. It doesn't have RCA but does have optical out.

Hi, many thanks for the offer, but the live does'nt have the audio output I need, if I cannot find a 1 box solution I might need to go a HDMI splitter with Video / audio seperation route...

Take up the kind offer of the cheap WDTV and simply add a cheap and cheerful DAC.

There are loads around for £30 new - eBay should help you keep the budget down to peanuts if you go used.

Example of new:
