non smart tv

is anyone aware of a device which will allow a relatively new non smart TV to receive WiFi, Ie i want to connect it to my sky Q but it doesn't have WiFi fitted.

Kodi is too time consuming.
the 3rd tv is on a different floor. I was hoping i could simply add a dongle or something to make it work.

Don't you just use the sky q mini box ?

Not used it myself but it has a hdmi for display and connects to your broadband over wifi. With an active sky q box in the house, it looks like it gives you what you need.

the mini box is on the floor below and i don't want cables everywhere.

Ah, ok.

You can get things that stream hdmi over wifi or the power lines, but it would mean a splitter too, then only watching what the box below is putting out.

No, it will only send the wifi to another Q mini box.
