I'm currently a Spotify user, but always open to changing if something better exists.

I listen to music in the following ways;

- Iphone 7 is mainly used as the base
- Sonos products around the house
- Carplay in my Seat Leon (Seat Sound upgrade)
- Bluetooth wireless in my wife's Mercedes (Burmester system)

I have the family subscription with Spotify, which I am generally happy with except for the following;

- Sonos/Spotify link does not allow you to play all tracks by an artist - you would have to create a playlist to do this I think
- Spotify/Carplay link is unreliable to put it mildy. Once it works its fine but it seems to take 2-3 attempts plugging and unplugging to get it working
- No high-res audio available (yet?)

Ideally I would like a high-res, family service that works well with Sonos and Carplay.

Not sure it exists? Deezer seems to come closest from what I can see. Tidal would be perfect but I cant see any Carplay integration?

Any other options I've missed that would give me the whole set?

No idea on the Carplay but but the services that always seem to come up for high res are Tidal and Qobuz.

You can get a free 3 month trial of tidal if you install the sennheiser captune app.

I did that last week to see if it was better than spotify.

Does it sound better? Dunno. Maybe a bit but i would need to do a blind test to be sure. There is no really obvious difference using good quality studio cans

For me the bigger difference is in catalogue. Tidal is less diverse than spotify for my taste in music. It also has Jay Z and beyonce at the top of every page which pisses me off. They also keep emailing me about jay z and beyonce. I would not subscribe based on this experience
