Down load Deezer to a MP3

As it Says. I have started back in the gym/pool and have a waterproof MP3 that i would like to put some music from Deezer onto. No good at all with this stuff so would appreciate some help.

You can't Deezer is a streaming service, the mobile app will let you download content to listen to off line but it will likely be encrypted so can only be played back on the mobile.

Anyway it's 2017 not 2002, use your smart phone.

Hi Coffin Dodger. I am well aware of the year thank you. If you looked at my post instead trying to be a smart A*s~ you might have picked up I want to use it for swimming as well, now I don't know about you but I think it might do some damage to the phone if I took it into the pool to listen to while swimming.

Nope, there are a few water resistant phones available (Samsung for example)

Yes I can see it now, come out of my contract, buy a new phone just to swim with. Then I can tuck it into my speedos with wires all over the place while I swim a mile.
Great advice will do it today.

Not sure about the Samsungs, but my waterproof Sony (Z3) is supposedly rated for 30 minutes under 1.5m deep water. But IIRC the manual says not to use it in chlorinated water, and if you do it will void the warranty.

Waterproof phones exist to be puddle proof etc if you drop them. not swimming with.

My S7 suffered no issues whilst using it in the pool on our summer break this year

A quick Google and i came up with this.

MP3 playing earphones

no idea of the quality of these, but it's the idea.

Make a list of tracks you want to listen to, whilst you swim a mile, then go to youtube to find the tracks.

copy the web address into thishttp://www.flvto.biz/youtube-to-mp3/

And download the track to your PC.

Plug in the mp3 player and transfer the tracks over to it.



Very simplified set of instructions above, but it's the idea of what you can do.

Great for swimming, easy to use and stay fixed while swimming. I only asked if it was possible to download from Deezer onto them as I am rubbish with tech stuff, hoped Piston heads massive would help, did not expect abuse. Still you live and learn.

Yup, pretty much it. The other ways probably won't necessarily be practical, if we're talking conversion, DRM etc. you might as well 'acquire' the music elsewhere...

There are probably some bluetooth waterproof in-ears by now, but I guess it wouldn't provide enough distance from the phone to swim.

There's been a number of things through Kickstarter designed to make streaming services more practical for sports etc, but mostly for Spotify.

You could use something like Wondershare AllMyMusic. It's available for Windows and Mac - I use it on a Mac. It basically creates an mp3 copy of anything you play on your PC/Mac.

I've used it for exactly what you are wanting - to create mp3s from streaming service for loading onto a set of waterproof earbuds with built in mp3 player for swimming.
