Mysteron eyes.

My year old Samsung LED UE50KU60... Has developed what look like Mysteron eyes in the top left of the screen (however they are verical not horizontal). They are quite pronounced on light colours and not there at all if that area is black. Anything to be done or is it time to call John Lewis? I hope this makes sense.
I have googled it but no luck.

I have now contacted John Lewis and a bloke came out yesterday.
It is caused by a couple of backlights dimming.
TV taken away for repair or replacement leaving me with my bedroom 36" in its place, it's tiny!
