What do you think of the 3020's? I've been thinking of down sizing from my floor standing kefs which I've had for 30 years. I want something that sounds good but in a smaller package.
Very pleased with them. I listened to them back to back with the Dali Zensor 1, Mordaunt Short M20 and Mission LX2 and whilst the Zensor 1s probably had a slight edge, I couldn't see it justifying the price difference, and the biggest difference was when hearing different amps, so I upgraded that (from Denon M38DAB).joyless lobotomised parrot said:
Naim Uniti 2

And that's it. Boring, eh?
Nope - Uniti 2 here too, although Castle Severns MkII. Changed to the Uniti from a Cyrus pre/2 x monobloc/dad7Q, all PSX-R'd. 6 boxes to 1 and the jump in quality was significant. Problem now is I keep looking at naim power amps...Naim Ovator S400 x 2

I have gone through quite a lot of kit to get to this point but it has all been worth it and it comprises of a mainly analogue set up with the following.
Townshend Rock Elite modified to approximate a Rock Reference 7, upgraded DC motor with separate regulator & speed controller. ARB twin pivot tonearm. Sumiko Pearwood Celebration ii MC cartridge.
Goldring Lenco GL75, completely re-wired, refurbed motor, new plinth, modified tonearm based on original but with carbon tube & solid pure silver wire. Lyra Helikon Mono MC cartridge.
Art Audio Vinyl One Reference phono pre-amp, modified with silver wiring, but not sure of exact details. Extra output to run a CDP.
Art Audio Quintet SET power amp with Mullard/Telefunken valves, & modified wiring/caps etc.
Jungson Moon Harbor CD player (hardly used).
Triangle Antal mk1 speakers.
Tellurium Q Black speaker cable.
Analysis Plus interconnects.
The Lenco is used purely as a mono deck, although I am trialing another cart at present but will be going back to the Helikon.

Panasonic 58" 4K TV with Apple TV 4K... <etc>
I'd never thought of having a TV as part of my HI-Fi set-up I think of mine as a decent stereo rather than HIFI.
Tried to keep it simple for the last ten years after much playing around.
Thorens TD 160 mk2 turntable
Linn Basik LVV tonearm and wiring
NAD PP1 phono stage
Sumiko Blue Point No. 2
Nait 5i
Marantz CD63 mk 2 Ki Signiture
Dynaudio Audience 62 speakers
Chord Cobra 2 interconnects
Cable Talk 3.1 speaker wire

I like restoring hifi kit from the '60's and '70's, here's what I have running in the spare room/workshop at the moment:
Raspberry pi running volumio with a HiFiberry DAC on my home network as an HD source.
About 4TB flac files, mostly 60's/70's/80's live stuff.
Trio KA-2000A amp from about 1972
B&W DM601S2 speakers.
Arcam T61 FM tuner on a loft dipole with amp.
Revox A77 4-track reel to reel 1972.
Akai 4000DS 4-track reel to reel 1974.
Roberts stream 93i internet radio.
Mixer to mix the tape sources.
Old school Sony 9" CRT PVM connected to a set top box.
There's even an 8-track there at the moment.
Have playback of HD files via the RPI, FM radio, Freesat TV/Radio, and Internet radio covered, I don't bother with DAB.
May be not as aesthetically pleasing as some of the systems on here, but it serves my needs and sounds fine to me. I have lots of equipment from the era I and swap it around every so often after servicing.
Downstairs I'm a bit more up to date as there's an Arcam A85 another pair of B&W speakers, a CD72, another RPI, and a project turntable, and a lot of vinyl and tapes.
Anybody else like old school kit?

GSE,
I bet there's rarely a dull moment with that!
Very true, I get as much enjoyment from servicing and operating it, as I do from listening to music on it. It looks a bit of a mess, but it doesn't really matter as its in what I call the staging area, before each bit gets moved downstairs after testing. I have all the electronic test equipment to service this type of kit most of it has been fully serviced, re-capped, new transistors and re-aligned where required.I bet there's rarely a dull moment with that!
I've also got the matching Revox A76 tuner and A78 amp, 2 more A77's, both 2 track, one normal speed, and one high speed that runs at 15ips. Got the 4000DS as my dad had one in the day that I have fond memories of. Back in the day I used it more that he did, to record from the radio, I still have some of the tapes. All the Revox machines sound excellent and better the Akai 4000DS. The Revox A78 amp is as good as the much newer Arcam A85 in my opinion. Also have a GXC-46D cassette desk, some valve equipment, and some other amps and receivers that have that great 1970's styling. Also got some odd ball video equipment - a Philips N1500 and a Sony u-matic!
I know it could all be done using a smartphone now days but where's the fun in that?
