Time is up for our current Sky deal which is Entertainment, Box Sets, HD, multi room Q and Fibre Unlimited for £67pm.

Jumped through the usual hoops to be offered an 'enhanced' deal of £69pm with the subtraction of the Kids channels (although we don't need them its still a reduction).

I've finally decided to play the cancellation game and handed the 31 day notice in.

First contact was made today, 9 days since cancellation and was offered ALL channels for £50 + £33 for broadband taking total to £83.

Doesn't feel much of an improvement TBH.

Has anyone received a mage value deal from Sky recently? Happy to hold out to the very last minute to see what they offer even if my wife doesn't!

Not recently but when I tried to cancel they offered my every channel for £25 (think it's gone up to £27 now) and no contract, just a rolling monthly jobbie. Irony is, I don't really watch anything so thinking of getting rid.

I didn't really barter or anything, I really did want to cancel when they offered me it. Maybe mention the deal I've got and they'll match it?

Best deal I had was getting rid of sky all together. Netflix is cheap and much better.

This is a long read, but probably worthwhile.

My deal expires in the next few weeks. We aren’t using the TV really as we generally watch Netflix and the kids are into that now.

Last time I did this the cost of just phone/broadband was pretty close to that including TV so ended up taking TV back for sake of the extra £5 or so.

Has anyone recently dropped the TV but kept phone/broadband?
