Wanting music in the kitchen dont have any wireless music devices at present.

The audio pro c10 gets great reviews as do their smaller offerings.

There is sonos obviously but dont know much about them but i just see that ikea have released two sonos devices a lamp and a more normal looking box

We want something that fits in looks wise thats easy to use and sounds half way decent the rooms 27sqm so not huge

All music comes from google music.

Oh i dont really want alexa or anything so if it has mic's can they be turned off?

I've got this little Sony SRS one - don't be fooled by it's size though, the sound quality is great! It's this one here https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8665650 and it comes in different colours too.

It's nice and compact too so my Mrs doesn't complain about have another bulky bit of tech in the living room! At the time I bought it using a voucher code - it was about a month or so ago but I got 10% off. This was the site I used: https://www.myfavouritevouchercodes.co.uk

Whether or not they still have the code or something similar I don't know but it's always worth a look!

I have the Sonos Play 3 in my kitchen and that's all you'd need.

It's not cheap, but it's very good.

Picked up a Google home from Facebook marketplace the other week for £30.

I was sceptical but wanted to give it a shot as a way to make playing music more accessible to the family. Switching the amp to the right channel and controlling content from my phone only really works for me.

Anyway, it's great. Wife/kids can now just say "hey Google, play radio 6"...or whatevs and off it goes.

It can also sync with the existing Google Chrome audio to have the same music playing via the amp and decent sound system.

On the whole, it's one of the best 30 quids I've spent in forever. Sounds really decent for what it is and has made listening to music, getting weather forecasts and other daft stuff so easy.

For a better sound though you can go for the Google home max. Or you could get s pair of homes and sync them up. They sound perfectly good for a bit of non audiophile listening.

The Audio pro C10 gets a great review on what hi fi, looks good value too.
Sonos products are quality but very expensive, a pair of play ones may suit a kitchen well due to their size.
Depends how loud you want to go.

I use BluSound. Similar to Sonons, but a lot better, the sound quality is a significant step up. They have a range of speakers of differing sizes, I suggest the pulse flex if you're after a single speaker, more than enough to fill a decent sized room.

The Bose Soundlink just works, and produces fabulous, deep sound. Amazing for its size.
I first came across it in a hotel room and was impressed enough to buy one :-)

Agree, use it all around the house, even goes in the man-cave sometimes.

I have a Soundlink colour in the living room and agree it sounds great. Also have 3 UE Megabooms which also sound excellent. Use one for most of my PC sound in the mancave along with a pair of Kef LSX.

After looking into this sort of thing briefly, I've I pulse bought a pair of audio pro add on c5 from richer sounds.
Second one half price, so we'll see what kind of bargain that turns out to be.

Anyone with any related good news to calm my nerves buying these untested?
