Does anyone know if it is possible to make All4 work on a Sony Bravia kdl 43w805c.
It’s in the spare room, so I can not connect it to anything other than WiFi, had it for ages but now got rid of sky box sets.

From what I have seen it has to be connected to the roof aerial... I don’t have one, at all.

I know the TV is Android but this is f’ing stupid.

Could you not just connect a firestick to the TV?

I have a Sony Android TV. I don’t think there is an all4 app for it is there?

Or do you mean streaming from your phone or the like? That’s what I do and seems to work fine?

It is meant to be a smart TV so should not really have to stick extra things on it to make it do smart TV things.

There is an app, you have to add it from the menu- but it does not work unless you connect it to an aerial!

Android TV is worse than the phone OS, compared to Samsung/ LG the Sony "smart" aspects are terrible.

Just ordered an Apple TV box.

Save your money and order an Amazon Firestick, it now has AppleTV built in.

Loads of TVs with YouView need the aerial, I think if you plug something in the back and tune the TV you can then remove it and use all the apps.

I don't have an aerial either, not had one for 15 years or so now, seems silly for catch up services.
