No tilt or swivel just low profile only a 49xg5005 so not heavy any suggestions

I have the genuine Samsung mount on TV down stairs and that's stupidly close

The official Sony mount is 240! For a bit of steel with 4 bends in it and some punched holes

I think you're going to struggle given that half of the Samsung mount fits into a recess in the back of the screen.

Have you checked the connectors & plug sockets etc. ?

I have plugs behind the TV, & cables coming out of the wall that so there's always a limit to how close to the wall you can actually even with 90 degree plugs for aerial/sat/hdmi - unless they are all on the side ?

Nope TV isn't here yet

Only need power and data will run both most likely straight into a brush faceplate and up into loft gonna put it where ever the power input is for extra depth

I've got 2 of these now, well this one and it's smaller brother for a 32".

Peerless SLWS410 Ultra Slim

I don't think you can get closer than 8mm without the custom wire solution I've seen on some Samsung TVs.

Usually the TV has a fatter lower section with the thin upper portion leaving loads of room behind - I've got a regular UK single socket faceplate and 13A plug behind mine using that 8mm mount.

Or one of these

IBRA Ultra Slim Wall Mount Bracket System

I have a 65" Samsung hanging off one (its been there almost 2 years - so its held up well) - it's a slim mount purely because it hangs like a picture - there is no frame between the tv and the wall.

Is it up yet? What do you think to the bracket? I need to order and this is a lot cheaper than the oneforall.

Edit: Just had a thought, I'm getting a socket for behind the TV, with the depth of the faceplate and plug, a slim one might not be best frown

Yes it's up and it's not bad BUT it's depends on the TV mine has a fald backlight so it's got a full back so no area for a plug to go behind. I'm even worse off as my set has A hard wired power cable but I have a plan

Been looking into the setup this morning and seems my is also hard wired. I phoned Sony support up and he said we don't know. So I'm screwed with the idea of running a long power cable up in the wall to it. I've found a few things like this

https://www.screwfix.com/p/bg-1-gang-unswitched-br...

Or there is a product that sinks into the wall, so the plug is in the cavity too, called Syncbox, but they are not cheap!

I can't believe they hard wire the cable to the tele, then only give you 2m! surely they know people want these on walls?!

Mine is a FALD Sony and it's now up on the Peerless 8mm mount I posted previously - no issues here with clearance in the end.

The TV has a standard IEC C7 socket on the back and came with a silly 1m lead, so I just bought a 3m one on Amazon.

No chance of running another power cable up/inside the wall and use a flex connector to the original lead? I can't see how you'd have warranty issues for removing a plug.

The cable connection void on my TV lines up with a brush plate surface mounted on the wall, quite a bit of clearance in this area. My wall is dry-lined so I just dropped the cables down behind the plasterboard in conduit to another lower brush plate as there weren't any adhesive dabs in the way. Luckily.

XF9005, you commented in my topic regarding buying a 4k TV!

Yes, inline connector might be the ticket. Sparky is pulling the cables for power to the unit below that holds the sky box etc. So I can just get him to do it.
