I’d like to project some astronomy scenes into the ceiling above my baby’s bed, and was wondering if one of those pico projectors (the one the size of a couple of cigarette packets and under £100) would do the job well.

A purpose-made planetarium is far more expensive, and only does the one thing, it seems as though playing a YouTube video of the night sky would be far cheaper and every bit as good.

Would one be good for this, or do I need to pay up a bit more for a “proper” one?

I’d be careful with YouTube adverts. Some of the ones I’ve seen give me nightmares let alone a baby.
