Our 55” OLED is on pretty much 11 hours per day and we still only average 8kw in total consumption for the house.

It’s definitely not a huge cost. The plasmas were a different story - like running a 400w corded drill continuously.

I have a pioneer plasma. And a smart meter. I don’t much like the change in numbers when I turn the telly & amplifier on.

It’s still buttons in the grand scheme of things.

This is why I won't get an OLED TV.

My mum had one and you could see the Good Morning Britain logo shape on the screen, which is pretty bad as that is like 3 hours a day out of about 12 that she would have it on.
