I've just heard "Run To You" by Bryan Adams again.

It sounds quite epic.

Some good test tracks.

Life by the Beta band, the latter half of the song, good for finding bass modes in your room.

Thunderbird by Catherine wheel. - TalkTalk influenced greatness, includes a but of tape hiss and everything. The Bass is a real foundation for this song. I'd quite like them to make some more music but Rob seems to be busy with Porsches.

She's got my number by Semisonic - A great song and I think it sounds amazing loud.

Silver Rider by Robert Plant - Expansive.

Try Uakti and the track 'Trilobita Solo 2'. Not recorded in high res, but very well recorded all the same. An interesting track.

Big Prince fan here.

The production on his early and later stuff is sublime. Funnily enough, his most popular stuff is less well produced for some reason.

I Wanna be Your Lover
Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?
Let's Work
Anna Stesia
Diamonds & Pearls (Album) - Walk, Dont Walk
Love Symbol Album - Sexy MF, The Morning Papers, Love You 2 the 9s
Gold Experience - Shy, Shhh (Drum intro is superb)

Gave it a go - as I do for pretty much everything mentioned - but I couldn't get into it. A bit of a whimsy with an overplayed motif.

Hahahaha, I've become a critic. smile

As an aside, many (if not most) of Van the Man's seems to be in 24bit - very smoothly produced. Mellow, obviously, but enjoyable if you're in the mood.

Bunny is a Rider - Caroline Polacheck from the album Desire, I Want To Turn Into You
That album is exceptional well produced/mixed. IMO

edit... It actually seems quite flat on my AirPods pro2 which is a bit odd as it sounds fab on my home Hi-Fi

I've been listening to The Stone Roses self-titled debut CD - 20th Anniversary remaster 2009, and I have to say, it sounds really good to my old ears...! smile

Enjoyed that, good post, thank you. She must have military grade finger muscles, playing normally weighted keys like that.

The very talented Hania Rani....

I challenge anyone to watch the first 2 mins of this and not end up watching the whole hour of her performance and then looking for more...

She is mesmerizing!

What talent !. I can't describe the music, but it really moves me. Thanks !

The Future Nostalgia album by Dua Lipa is very good too. Not perhaps the best sounding even in 24 bit (although still very good), but some superb production on it that only a decent system will resolve.

Also check out Roxanne by DubXanne get those bass units moving

Some interesting tracks... thanks. Have listened to all I didn't know. Enjoying 'Liberty'.

For jazz lovers try:

Silent World by Wolfgang Haffner. I discovered this recently - superbly recorded drums, no surprise, he is a drummer.

Bubbles by Yosi Horikawa is worth a try... it's like a speaker demo!
Thanks for the recommendation of Silent World. Had a listen then ordered the vinyl. Superb - and a fabulous vinyl pressing too.
