Listening this morning to Floating Points Elaenia (Dinked Archive vinyl). It’s been a while, but production on this beautiful music is very classy.

Very nicely produced ambient music. A good listen this. Covers a wide range of the frequency spectrum and some lovely synth sounds.

I've been tooling around setting up new-to-me Floor standers, and getting the sub to work nicely with them.

This is a live recording, but my gosh it works well.

"The Lord Is Listenin' to Ya, Hallelujah!" Carla Bley, Andy Sheppard (songs with Legs)

and 'Chicken' on the same LP

Tears for Fears - Head Over Heels. That piano intro! those vocals! synth licks!

DJ Shadow - High Noon. Hard to pick a single track but this one stands out for being pressed to think this track wasn't by a band but a single person composed/arranged a rock instrumental with a stack of rock records and a sampler and being told to remaster it at behest of the record company (Mo Wax) so it sounds more seamless and contemporary.

Group Home - Livin Proof (album). DJ Premier's best album, every beat is crisp and sounds hard and hits hard. Of all of Premo's productions this album I consistently come back to the most.

I got this link from another site..
It's basically links to audio manufacturers demo albums, the ones they think will show off their stuff best.

Page bookmarked, thanks for posting the link. I’ll give those a listen - looks like they’re all available on Amazon Music.

I have the Chesky Records Jazz Sampler, if that doesn’t make me one of the cool kids I don’t know what does!
