I started off with some Mordaunt Short Genies. Then moved house and upgraded to Tannoys. Then I moved again and went for another upgrade - Monitor Audios.

You can spend as little or as much as you like.

If you make an appointment, Richer Sounds can usually arrange for you to "audition" a few different speakers in your price range, or specific ones you want to try. As you got your amp there they might even be able to do the audition with your model of amp.

if you want something that'll blow your socks off on a 3 channel setup - have a look for some second hand Meridian speakers and a 561 or 568.2 controller - get it setup for Trifield - it's absolutely stunning.
561's come up for between £150 and £350 (if you are flush, a G61R is worthwhile upgrade)
speakers - a pair of DSP5000's will be about £500 and a matching centre is anything from £150 to £350ish, any money left buy a Sub from REL (perhaps a Stadium II or III if you have lots of space, or a Quake of T/Zero or something smaller)
(other Meridian speaker models are available to empty all known bank accounts!)
the result is a system that when new retailed for about £10k - and will have cost well less than £1k, is rated at about 675W (excluding the Sub)

I bought it in 2018 for 80% off the new price. For that money I could have barely got an entry level new one. It sounds great and had loads of life left in it.
