I now cannot make the tank museum, I have taxi duties to do instead as my wife is away at a guides camp she organised, I did have friends covering for me but daughter has now said yes to working a split shift on Saturday so to much back and forth to impose on friends.

If anyone has a friend that wants to go please take my place, the ticket is pre paid with Alex so happy for someone to make use of it.

I am concerned about parking. It is an event day. Make it too late and might be very busy to get in - with TVRs that might be a challenge.
Just to help Alex a little, having been to a couple of event days there the queues can get massive from a very early time so my advice would be to get there as early as possible.

Just to also mention, I have NOT booked dinner for everyone.

I have no idea if people want to eat or not and if they want to eat at the hotel or not, so please see to your own arrangements.

The hotel has tables free on the day so if you want to book now for yourselves it is easy to do online or over the phone.

Thanks!

Cheers! I thought it might be something like that, so I hope 10am is a reasonable time to choose. Any earlier and people travelling down will be leaving really early - like 4-5am. Ack!

Is 9.00 the leave time or the meet time?
The leave time give or take 10mins. If you are late just let me know and we can wait around. I will need to sign everyone in as I have the passes.

I don't intend to be late but I have a wife to motivate so could you email me your mobile number

I'll be leaving home at 6am (sorry neighbours) so hoping to arrive at meeting point by 9am. Could you email me your mobile number please Alex, just in case. Is it really necessary to book a table for dinner?

The restaurant in the hotel does not get good reviews so I have booked a table at the Poet Laureate for the Middx contingent. There's probably room for others to join us if you want.

Thanks Nick.

I will be arriving in a red Alfa as the st for brains in the garage doesn't want to play ball this summer.

I'll just be snacking. I have some... odd locations to hit next week.

Oh dear - you can get it all off your chest with a couple of pints on Saturday evening - we're a very sympathetic bunch.

+1 for the Poet Laureate. We're not getting dressed up are we? I'm in jeans and trainers.

I already have a table booked for 5 at 7.30 in my name - Nick Emery. I'm sure they won't mind increasing it if you ask them.
