I think its safe to say I'm smitten by it! smile
I wasn't expecting it to be there so was surprised when I came across it. People had said it's better in the flesh so was hoping to be more impressed. Unfortunately it hasn't changed my opinion of it. A great technical result from TVR but nothing that'd make me want to buy one had I the cash. Which I haven't. So it's academic. We got to Burghley at lunchtime and unfortunately cars were already steadily leaving. Shame, but nice to see some TVRs this year! smile
I was secretly hoping it would be there and I was over the moon when I saw it. I clearly still have lots of love for the TVR marque and its made me excited about the future. I can't afford one either but it has made me really want one though.

I never stay long at Burghley but I always get there for 10am, the weather was a real shame but I was impressed by how many owners made the trip.

It was a good turnout despite the weather, plenty of colour on show to brighten up a dull day

Decided to brave it in the end and glad I did! Good to catch up Jason and his new toy and a really good surprise seeing and hearing the new Griffith running. The red paint looked brilliant in natural light with some rain beading on it!

Great turn out considering the conditions - sorry to hear about the V8S incident - hope the occupants are ok.

Agreed. Love the new Griffith. Be interesting to see how fast it really is 🇬🇧

This explains the plethora of TVRs I saw on the A1M today as I was heading in the other direction. Brightened up a dull drive!

Shame to hear about the V8s demise and glad to hear both occupants will be OK. Also shame about the horrid weather and yes I was at the meet, arrived following Qbee and ended up parked up between Qbee and Nick Fisher's Cerbera, spoke to some interesting people and also a new owner of a Black Chimaera with read roof that I did consider buying when looking last year. Nice to see and hear it's found an appreciative new owner. It dii look smart!

Left around 2:30 as the damp and cold was really starting to get to me and bumpers were not really suitable footwear for the weather but didn't bring any proper boots so had to make do.

Good to catch up Jason

Likewise Paul and I'm sure will catch up again soon. thumbup (Well I think you mean me)

It was a shame about the weather especially as it was a regional thing as apparently my area of Solihull didn't see any rain all day. Didn't alter the fact I had a great day meeting old and new faces and connecting some PH names to faces.
I hadn't really paid much attention of the dimensions of the new Griffith but when it was parked next to the blue Sagaris it really did make the Sag look small. I was already in the very much like it camp after seeing it at the NEC but was the first time I had heard it running and what a lovely noise it is.

Very sad to hear about the V8s but thankfully it appears both driver and passenger have not received any serious injury and hope from the aftermath all goes through smoothly.

Shame about the weather, good to see so many cars braving the rain though, and happy to finally see the new car in the flesh, I hope it's a success but it's a 'no' from me considering the tough competition it's up against at that price point, if only it could have been £30k less. Was hoping my old car made the trip but it seems not. frown

I hope the V8S driver and passenger who had an almighty smash up on the M11 on the way back from Burghley are ok, not sure if it was anyone on here but I can't see that car seeing another day. Wishing you well whoever you are frown

Is Burghley on both the Saturday and Sunday this year, or just the Sunday like last year?

Burghley's website seems to suggest both....

Thanks

Unfortunately the Goodwood Members meeting is a little later this year and clashes irked
