Get your tent out and camp with us lot on site!
Free accommodation, a load of Tvr owners...... I Mean what could possibly go wrong.
I'm fairness after camping for 5 nights on 3 different occasions with our Cerbfest I guarantee the camping will be the best part of the weekend

Well done Peter. I’d love to call you “the man who made it happen”, but I know a lot of hard work has gone into making this happen, so a round of applause to the guys who put in the effort.

I had been planning to drive over on the day.....it’s about 90 minutes from me......but I might well be tempted to try some loitering within tent.

Deposit paid! Only had my Cerb back for less than a week after it was off the road for 2 years after a snapped crank at the Hethel track day in April 2016. Ready to track again! thanks for organizing, see you in a few months....

Cheers

I thought this was you. That was one very dramatic ending to your day and we were all saddened by your premature departure.
Your back,, well done indeed.

Absolutely.

That was a great day at Hethal.

I lasted the whole day, car was running beautifully and I didn’t notice that I had lost all my coolant due to a cracked block behind a liner.

Much money and time later.........

Agreed - I remember your car packing up. Sad times.

But it was a great day a Hethel, despite my late arrival due to losing a wheel off my trailer! Just meant I missed a bit of the world’s longest briefing.......so no loss.

My engine expired five months later.....

thanks - yes it was pretty dramatic from the drivers seat! Very lucky though. Lucky it went on track, lucky no other cars were involved, lucky I missed all the barriers, and lucky it didn't go about 3 seconds later when I would have been doing over 100mph about to brake for the hairpin...I missed TVR ownership so much once it was towed away that I bought a Vixen 2500.

It was probably the most expensive track day, ever.

what I should also add to that though is that despite the depressing moment when you realise your car is screwed, my heart was warmed by all the TVR folk there and the organisers too who were very very helpful in sorting me and car out. I even remember QBee offering to fetch his trailer back to tow my Cerb somewhere if I needed it.

TVR owners are good people.

Looking forward to this.

Didn't realise it was listed on PH too (I was a Facebook joiner).

Deposit paid up and I did receive a confirmation email. but name is not on the pictures list. Humph.

When is the full payment due? Details?

Gah feck. I’ve just realised I’ve double booked this with a trip to the Belgian GP. If I do attend it’ll only be a flying visit.

The Chairman says, on the TVRCC website forum, end of June for the balance (£80 for members, £100 non-members), plus any extras like second drivers, passengers, helmet hire or whatever.
