Duxford Imperial War Museum - car show 6th May - numbers

Hi folks

Following on from last year's spring car show at Duxford, I'm now starting the process of getting us registered for the Duxford Spring Car show this year (if everyone is up for it again, of course! ) We had loads of TVRs last year from a number of different regions.

The Duxford imperial war museum is located just south of Cambridge and is very easy to reach just off the M11 (a couple of minutes at most).

It can be reached from Stansted in just under 30-40mins up the M11.

Displaying at the show gives you free access to the entire museum site at a much cheaper rate than standard entry fees.

It is also the home of one of the best Air Museums in the world and is generally a great day out.

This event is open to any regions who want to come. However, due to insurance reasons only TVRCC members can come with us.

Hi all

Right, please find enclosed the instructions on how to book a ticket for Duxford show.

It is all pre-ticketed entry this year, so you need to buy a ticket to get in, you cannot just turn up
on the day.

Always weather dependent, so prefer to pay on the day. Been about 10-11 times anyway.

Just a reminder, this is on this weekend. Please have prebooked your tickets and have your display passes. I cannot do this for you, you have to book it as above yourselves.

Hi all!
I need to be at the site early this year, so I will not be doing a run-in as such.

We are parked up on the hill as shown in the map below.

The entry point is...
- Duxford Museum (Gate 1)
- Postcode - CB22 4QR
- Arrival time - 0930am +

Please make your own way there or meet up at the Baldock services at 0915 and
make your own way there.

Unless you have a ticket which I do not think are available now you will not be able to get in to display. Of course, you would be able to enter as a normal punter, just not for displaying a car.

I have managed to book for the display using your code.
What time do I need to arrive by.

Forgot to mention the website said you could book until tomorrow lunchtime if anyone else wants to go.

Well, the weather for Sunday looks... hot, very hot, so should be a great day out.

You can still book for the event, but IWM bookings close at 1200 today. So, if you want to come,
book ASAP.
