Even if 52 of us had to pay little extra it would only be £15-20 each.
One less lap of fuel should cover it ? smile

Just been posted on the FB site and the club website that we now have enough entrants!

So it's going ahead. smilesmile

I warn you all, I intend setting a new lap record.

Not necessarily for the fastest time....

Any news on if we hit the numbers for this to go ahead?

I really hope so, this is a highly anticipated first track day for me.

But I do have some work to do to be ready, as I found a fuel line spraying fuel onto the back end of the exhaust manifold yesterday; not ideal.

Who is staying where the night before?

Hopefully, all will be road legal on Monday and collected on Tuesday next week.

Going up in the motorhome the night before and hopefully will be staying on site. I must contact them and see if that is okay.

Look forward to seeing you there Stuart.

I am staying at the Kenwick Park Hotel on the Thursday night.

It is a 2 hour and 40 minutes drive from my home near Nantwich which I think is too far to travel first thing as I understand the track day starts at 08.00.

A few years ago I travelled the 220 miles to Cadwell from Surrey, was there by 7.30am, travelled about 150 miles on track and returned the same day by about 10pm, (in the chim), nearly 600 miles.

Then had to wait up till 12.30am to pick up Mrs phazed and daughter from the station.

I was very tired......................

If that was in the 5.5, you also bought a lot of petrol!

I forgot, but the called me yesterday and asked nicely, so I did the business with the online banking.
Looking forward to seeing you all next Friday - for the first time since God knows when, we have a fully booked TVRCC track day. YES!!

I had begun to think i was odd, being one of only a few people who actually did more than just polish their TVRs and park them in a neat row, front end out, at car shows. Seems we are a growing band of brothers.

Hopefully, it is possible to do both show them and track them. The squeaky clean cars may be at an advantage with all that polish - helping them scythe through the air with th minimum of drag!

I know that some of my friends in the local group who enjoy a good car show would also like to do a track day, but the location doesnt suit everyone.

As close as possible to the cafe/track biggrin

The pits are sort of on a side of a hill so less walking up hill the closer to the track you get.

Just behind the Sctutineering / flat floor bays is a prime spot for that and quick access to the viewing areas by the cafe. wink
