So this sold out about three weeks ago and perhaps we should have made more of that and than we have done. We now actually have two drivers on our Reserve List! We are hoping this means we will be able to do two TVRCC track days in 2020!

Of the 60 drivers, 6 are First Timers and 12 are Novices so we will do Sessions in the morning and open pit lane in the afternoon. TVRs range from Grantura through to Sagaris. Non TVRs include a Mini, MX5 and a couple of BMWs, but all owned by TVRCC members. Organisers and tbc the Instructors, are staying in Louth the night before, so I will post pub and restaurant details nearer the time if anybody wants to meet up.

^^^^^ how good to read this smile
I’m not taking part,,,, in any bloody thing right now but someday this on the bucket list, mainly because I love being around TVR lads and the laughs it brings.

Weather looks like it’s getting better come Sunday so fingers crossed it stays dry for everyone.

My only advice is leave a braking distance. If your close to someone but not fast enough to overtake, drop back, create space for yourself and that way you stay safe and enjoy your car more.
Teaching some to suck eggs but this is a major problem on many track days and cause lots of near misses. When you think about racing the guys get to know each others driving over many races, we don’t have that luxury. Stay safe and enjoy. thumbup

We’ll be in an Audi, staying on ferry from Zeebrugge night before so may be a little late, hope that’s not a problem with drivers brief James?

You can be individually briefed, don’t worry. Where does your ferry arrive?

Hi John - It's already been said, but it's no problem. (I've found with PONSF that if you say at check-in you have an early morning appointment they will put you in freight and you get off earlier than the cars, with the lorries.)

Let’s hope we get Thursday’s weather on Friday.
The forecast is usually correct, it’s the timing they struggle with.
And since Michael Fish-gate in October 1987, they always exaggerate the pessimistic.
I live not far from Cadwell, and a forecast of rain on and off all day often ends up being a 10 minutes sprinkle at 5am.
Fingers crossed.....

I’ve also been looking at that app.
If you download the AccuWeather app, it says just rain in the morning. In other words no one has a clue

Hopefully they can squeeze me in, I'm on the reserve list. I know I have left it a bit late but I have been doing a bit of work on the car. What better way to test it than a track day.smile

I think registration is between 7.30 and 8.30, briefing is 8.30 and sighting laps start at 9.00. Lunch 1-2.
It's an MSV track, and that seems to be their normal hours, for example, they have a track day the previous day, and those are the timings
