Thoroughly enjoyable day, what a great circuit and who organised that weather! Hope you guys didn`t mind an ex TVR owner joining in with his 1958 Fairthorpe Electron Minor, only 1300cc so giving away a dollop on the straights but it was great fun throwing it around even though i think i`ve melted my front brake pads
Many thanks to all who came up for a chat about the car, as always TVR owners are a friendly bunch, my brother took a few pics ]
Hi Martin,

It was great to have a few other interesting cars on the circuit.

As I have said to many of the "alternative" TVR owners who came, you are all most welcome next year, please email me your contact details and I will ensure you get an invite next year.

Cheers

Richard

Hi Richard,
Thanks again for such an enjoyable day. I was another person in the "alternative" TVR owner also in a black Elise. Everyone was very friendly and some amazing cars out there. Please do let me know when the next one is as we'd love to attend again.

Were you not out much? I took loads of pics and you're only in 2 pics, not even in the background of any others.

Classy pictures, new career beckoning Joolz biggrin

I see what’s happening here, the Beemer is right up your chuff, cheeky fker biggrin
The second picture your creating space and slowing the Beemer down so he loses momentum in so giving you the advantage and space to attack,,,,,, very impressive driving rofl

Is that a 7 series,,,V12,,, decent brakes if it is wink

I lost time in the morning fixing a sticky throttle but was out plenty in the afternoon, probably got a good 6-7 sessions in. Ah well!

Those pics probably during the intermediate sessions when we were all stuck in traffic jams hehe good pics regardless, thank you smile

Beemer is a 3 series compact, I let it through along with a few other cars to try and find some space when we were all caught in traffic, then once it dissipated I had good fun chasing it back down again driving was being driven hard! thumbup

That’s standard driving for any BMW on any dual carriageway.....slip streaming at 75-85 mph. Saves trying to find out how the indicators work. whistle

My daughters boyfriend recently bought a new BMW and didn't get it when I told him to test the indicators before purchase as they are not covered by the warranty.
