A British affair includes very British summer weather of course. It's hurling down in Oxfordshire.
Prospects for tomorrow...more of the same!! But we'll still enjoy ourselves!
That's the spirit. I believe that although there may be some rain in the morning, it is scheduled to clear and then carry on through Sunday .Prospects for tomorrow...more of the same!! But we'll still enjoy ourselves!
There's lots of undercover area if needed, so we should be okay

Hi Mal. Just checking my old banger out for trip down tonight and find oil cooler is split. Sadly unless I can find anyone with a spare tonight (and I am trying) I am going to have to cancel my visit tomorrow. I hope this hasn,t caused you too much trouble, I was a TVRCC for 20 years so I know how last minute no shows can be a pain. If you can find anyone to make up the numbers for the photoshoot please do so and if I manage to get down and place taken my tough luck. So dissapointed, was really looking forward to this event, dont you love TVR,s but I suppose its lucky it didn,t do it at Classic Le Mans. Have a good weekend and who knows we may still make it. sTeVeR
Steve,Sorry to hear that I was looking forward to seeing your car again (saw it at Rockingham last year) hope you make it, I will hold the space open til about 12.30 and then see if anyone wants it if you havent made it.

Thanks to Zoe and her team for a grest weekend at the inaugural BSG. A lot of time and effort went into this event and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even got Hilary to camp Saturday night.
Everyone who stayed for the evening seemed to enjoy the Bar B Q and the 2 bands.
Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.
Met lots of old and new faces.
Maybe we can do it again if this has not completely drained you.

Fantastic weekend. Great cars, great event, great venue, great airshow & great company. Certainly one of the best TVRCC events we've been to!
Someone said it rained, but I can't remember it now there were way too many great things to do & see and some great people to chat to.
Looking forward to the next one

Justyn, was it you I followed to the A1 yesterday? I was coming back from my Dads and caught the tail end of a TVR convoy through Old Waren, all turning off apart from you - I was in the silver T350.Thank you and well done, i only stayed Saturday for 3 hours as i had to get back to Norfolk for the evening but loved the drive there and back with plenty of peeps taking photos of the Sag on the journey and thumbs up from loads of drivers, love it, the day itself at your event was great fun. We had a great day on Saturday too, amazingly lucky with the weather considering the rain we drove through on the way up there at lunchtime.
Many thanks to all those involved in organising it, fab day out. The edwardian boxkite etc. and giant pelicans (in the birds of prey display) were definate highlights!

I'm sure all the details will be posted in September, when all the information has been pulled together. Seemed more than 200 to me, but I don't really have much of a clue when it comes to stuff like that! Plus I was tucked away in my cosy Gazebo chattering most of the time .
Overall, I thought it was a huge success too though. The weather made it's own contribution to ensure it was a truly 'British Affair' didn't it! However, it also brought out the best in TVR folk, who arrived nonetheless! Much like the cars - their owners are a breed apart!
