Just watched epi 1 of season 2 of AG - wtf would you do with a punt gun considering its illegal to shoot game with?
I would imagine gun owners living in the mid-west of the US aren't overly bothered about what the law says they can and cannot shoot. There are plenty of places that are remote enough that no-one would ever know what you got up.

Isn't it state dependant what weapons are legal to use and what aren't? I'm sure in California you can't buy/use a .50 cal Barret Light, but in Colorado it must be legal, they seemed to be selling the one to that guy last week with no issues anyway.

Well it's ex cop in American Guns isn't it, however either way they both seem to be able to shoot straight and look after themselves!

Ex cop and ex fireman. And looks like he has some potentially scary friends.

California has a lot more state laws on gun ownership than Colorado. They specifically ban .50cal, 'assault weapons', and magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds.

I hadn't realised that AG were that close to me. Must pop in sometime.

Good choice, sir!

(I had the option of NJ or CO...no choice at all, really). The only other states I'd have considered would have been Washington or Oregon.

Arkansas is the place to be if you like guns apparently. Not sure if it's still current but I saw a program a few years ago on it. Basically in Arkansas you can carry a firearm as long as it's not concealed, cue many people walking around with hand cannons on shoulder and ship holsters like it was the wild west. Grannies were walking around with 44's! They even had t-shirts which stated something like "It's the Law in Arkansas".

Apparently it's also one of the states with the lowest crime rates. Imagine trying to commit a crime when any innocent bystander could be ready to blow you away! Do you feel lucky punk?

You'd be surprised how many states allow open carry. It isn't really used that much, but it's still legal, and quite surprising when you see someone brwosing at best buy with a Glock. Holstered, of course.
