the whole vince socom barrels debarcle in the last series was embarrassing.

they need to stop trying to be a soap opera and get back to building guns.

Totally agree, the Socom barrel affair was ridiclous. It then went to realy jump the shark with the Kriss Vector / total recall episode. I love the gun and have the airsoft version but all we got was some silly spy training episode. On a different note regarding American Guns, I wonder if the Kid told his father where to go and if he buggered off to italy afterall ?

How do you mean - is he their step-Dad or something? The mother and daughter are clearly related - they have the same (giraffe) neck.

Shame it's cancelled, it was an interesting show.

Yeah step-Dad, but not in a 'been around since they were in nappies so all but in name Father' but as in, they're still very much in touch with their Dad etc, and old Pappa Wyatt and Giraffe Wyatt have their own (much smaller) kids - despite the graphics on American Guns and theme tune wailing about "family business" the kids are Wyatt's at all.

Has it been cancelled then? I'll miss the daughter doing the old deer in the headlights routine, not that I thought it was anything but an act.

Both me the the wife had been enjoying SoG for the building of guns. But yes it has got rather crap. Like watching Eastenders which I won't watch

He's not his son either, the kids are hers from the previous marriage. Which also blows the "family" heritage aspect of that soap opera out of the water as well.

Didnt know about that family thing. Hope the kid told that dad stand in to bugger off and went to italy to finish learning engraving. he did seem realy talented in that respect. the rest was pretty crap and just seemed to be about doing a bit of a trigger job and offering bars of gold / silver/ choose ya mettle bar for old rifles. not surprised its cancelled realy.... would still not turn down a 2 up with girrafe snr and jnr tho
