I really don't know where this is going. It looks obvious but I can't imagine it will be. Lack of patience

Finally watched it.
Slow start but I do like it. Like the main character.
I don't feel getting the nutter back in to save a high level mission is that believable.biggrin

Anyone watch the Israeli original? I thought it was pretty boring (though realistic), with Homeland taking the suspense stakes.

Not even watched last weeks yet, but I wanna record something else tonight alongside, however since C4 nobs have stretched the hour long show into 70 minutes Sky won't do it.
Pretty fraking annoying how they try to squeeze more adverts into a popular show. It's something that Sky do as well. Though Sky don't have the irritating as st flash bars that go across the bottom of the screen telling you what's next on the channel, like you give a st.

They don't squeeze more in - the show is a full hour long without adverts (most "hour" shows in the US are actually 45 minutes of program) so if they want any adverts at all they have to show it for 70 mins or cut it down.

I am sure the last one was an hour.
GoT and the Sopranos can both be in hour slots. But practise is to have them in longer slots for more ads, I thought that the case here.

Edit just checked, seems the first three were 55, 48 and 54. Quite a difference there. It must have been on for an hour to allow me to record something.

Most 'hour long' shows in America are actually 40 - 45 mins except for the premium channels such as Showtime and HBO where these actually are 50 - 60 mins.

Weirdly though the last Homeland that aired in America was 48 minutes yet its on Showtime.

Pretty sure that its an hour on our v+ box? May be wrong though.

Looks like they change it around. I don't mind that if they're not cutting stuff out for the sake of making time. I only whined because last week I was able to record something else at ten, and I'd thought this weeks longer ep was due to more adverts when it's actually more Homeland, I don't mind that! biggrin

Great tonight but very nearly infuriating if it wasn't for the payoff at the end. Nice to see they're not going to drag that storyline out.

I foresee Carrie working with Saul as in independent unit to unearth Brody and the other mole. Hopefully the end of "mental Carrie" now too as that was driving me nuts.
