I think it is more related to people posting about episodes which have not yet been shown on UK TV.
In general yes I'm quite sure, but the comment from CAPPO above related to people's opinions of whether they enjoyed the show or not. As such it's not a spoiler and anyway who ever decided not to watch an episode of a popular TV series because someone else said they were disappointed? Surely people are big enough to be able to form their own opinions?

Quite understand but comments relate subjective opinion, not storylines, nor even veiled hints to such. It's been mentioned before but if people are worried about spoilers why not be a bit more proactive and avoid the forum 'til you've seen the episode? Possibly being a bit unrealistic expecting not a single whisper from people who've already seen the ep. Which TV channel is it on anyway? Sky?
Errrr, what about those who want to discuss / comment on ep1 during the week, i.e. following the UK schedule, when ep2 has been shown in the US? Not everyone who follow the UK schedule watch it on Sunday night.

I think it's fair to start discussing a programme as soon as it's aired. If I'm watching it on catch-up or whatever, I avoid discussion forums until I've actually got round to watching it.

…..in the UK wink

Can't argue with that at all. It's when you jump on here to have a chat about what happened last week and what that might lead to and someone blurts.

No one has. Can I remind you that you were complaining about someone's general opinion of the show - there were no 'blurts'.

All TV threads would be better with no spoilers, totally with you on that but there comes a time when so many others have actually seen the latest ep it's ridiculous not to allow discussion. What's quite surprising is people will still come on here in the full knowledge that other posters will already have seen the latest ep and expect them to behave like nuns in a cloister. Comments will slip - it happens - so why not just avoid the thread until you've seen the ep? I wonder what the percentage comparison is of non C4 /C4 viewers..

Yeah CAPP0! Since the UK schedule is EXACTLY one week behind US, why don’t you not bother visiting this thread at all until the end of season thus avoiding spoilers?!

And it’s clearly you CAPP0 not being proactive enough last year, not avoiding this thread until you had watched the finale. Mr HannsG found out Quinn had died and wanted to tell the world. It’s not his fault you know!

Leave this thread CAPP0, leave!

It's a TV program, not your life support system. People eager to talk about a subject are always likely to drop hints as to plot. You could avoid that risk totally and enjoy the program, but you won't, you're determined to preserve some kind of absolute embargo on any opinion on a prior episode. You need to accept that's not always going to work and stop whining. It's verging on Orwellian complaining about someone just saying they thought an episode was cr*p.

As an aside I thought last week's episode was quite good, I'm sure things will tie together in later episodes. The series keeps delivering even though we're now firmly in the bounds of conspiracy/paranoia where the first series was actually a bit more thought-provoking and sinister.

I don’t disagree with most of your points, merely highlighting (ok, making fun of) your logic from your previous post, as it would suggest any viewers following the UK schedule who wish to avoid spoilers, should avoid this thread altogether until the end of the current series, because the UK screening is always 7 days behind the US.

Yeah it's awkward. Perhaps just a little live-and-let live amongst brother Homeland viewers is called for! smile

Heh, poor guy was toast as soon as he arranged the face to face. Can't help thinking it was just a bit of gratuitous arse-kicking though, unless his laptop becomes germane to the plot.

It can't possibly be the last of that thread, surely...?

Will Max be able to use it in order to work out how to decrypt in future, which may come back in handy later this season. Or, will the laptop have other people's secrets on it that can be found out?

I was thinking more that the talented but naive ransomware nerd will somehow return and wreak his rewenge...

Im thinking more, she'll now infect the President or Chief of staff and use this Command&Control laptop to backdoor their files.

Who do I complain to about not getting to see Carrie's tits? This is C4, after the watershed, I expected more! laugh

50 minutes of dross followed by a few minutes of action. Good ending though, I was contemplating ditching it but will stick with it.

Yes, actually I was expecting that as well, or her daughter coming into the room.

Incredibly naive for a "CIA" agent to click on an unknown file on the internet and get subjected to ransomware demands!
