Horror Channel has some proper weird films on at the moment. Last night they showed "Hell comes to Frogtown".
Softcore Porn meets Mad Max meets Rowdie Roddie Piper.
odd catchline "first were going to free them then your going to impregnate them"
nuff said really.....So bad they made two more.... well worth a drunken watch.

The Quiet Earth
I like that film, but what did you make of the ending? Was he in purgatory after committing suicide? Or did the device transport him to another dimension? The Bed Sitting Room. A weird comedy about the aftermath of a nuclear attack on London. IIRC, it starred Peter Cook and Sir Harry Secombe. The central character suffers the effects of radiation poisoning and mutates into a brick bedsit. Britain still has a monarchy, but it's Mrs. Ethel Shroake on the throne. Peter Cook plays a chief constable who travels about in a Morris Minor suspended from a balloon. He shouts at people to keep moving. I'd like to see it again sometime.

Can I just highlight the utter stupidity of inventing your own "spoiler" tag that doesn't hide the spoiler in any way whatsoever, when there is an existing spoiler tag that is not only shorter but does actually hide spoilers?stuff
[ /spoilers ]
It's the word 'spoiler' in square brackets. So just like yours only shorter and without going to the hassle of using bold and the like.

Just thought it was better to highlight the post as a spoiler in some way so people could skip it easily.
I've removed the post.

Watch the remake of Alice in Wonderland, it's supposed to be a kids film but it's just weird.
Shrooms; Horror. A group goes camping looking to get high and have a trippy time, but what's lurking in the forrest. It's a bit weird and fairly decent.
I saw Malice in Wonderland a little while ago, a British film with Danny Dyer (the greatest actor ever!! ) It's actually very good imo, a great supporting cast and very well written. Shrooms; Horror. Ive just watched donnie darko it was awesome, had to read up for an explanation, still a bit confusing lol.
Is there any good films that are based on drugs and as a result there are a lot of visual distortions of them tripping etc?????
Requiem for a Dream. It's completely messed up. Is there any good films that are based on drugs and as a result there are a lot of visual distortions of them tripping etc?????
My other favourite weird film is Mr Nobody. I think it has the same lead actor in both actually.
