Interesting... I'm not sure - the theory is good, can they follow thru?

The adverts were the whole of Ep1 hehe and predicatble! I'll give it a couple more episodes before turning it off.

Like the concept, but all the perfectly manicured actors & actresses in spotless clothes makes it just to hard to suspend reality for me.
That and fire works... and guns work... but the internal combustion engine doesn't? Airliners suddenly go into flat spins without working engines so basic aerodynamics clearly don't work but birds can still fly. And obviously the electrics were still on at the time as they still had nav lights on. Nobody's got a brush to clean the floor, but they obviously have chemical cleaners to keep it spotless under the leaves and crap lying around on top of it? Shonky ancient PC works but more modern kit doesn't?

1 episode of this st is enough to say "cancelled" to me.

A few holes, (the lights on the plane for one, but without them, you wouldn't see the multiple planes falling out of the sky in the distance). Planes in a flat spin as they have no control of their control surfaces? No idea on that one. It is a TV show, not a documentary. Bullets are not electrical, they are chemical. Whatever this thing is that stopped electricity from working would not affect bullets, or their manufacture. The internal combustion engine requires a spark. The shonky old PC works because she has a locket gizmo of electrical wonder. That is obviously the key.

The holes were not enough to put me off.

I seem to recall from the emberverse books (which appear to be the inspiration here) that there's an upper limit on 'permitted' reactions, so electricity is out, modern firearms are out, but black powder weapons work. Chummy with the Desert Eagle rather spoils this.

Although in the books, they don't use firearms at all.

Also, where's the steam engines? 15 years, and no steam trains?

Certainly a few holes, but nothing to put you off completely.

Or glow plugs then. Either way, you require an electrical input.

Some diesel engines don't have glow plugs at all. Google compression ignition... wink

No lecky bits needed at all on some old heavy duty diesels - but then the writers of this pap clearly have done all their research while sitting on the loo staring at the ceiling so it's hardly surprising they don't know that.

Is there anywhere in particular one should go for these things or just the first VIP/trusted link on we all know where?

Would the enlightened ones tell us were these Proxy things are as all the ones that I have tried through Google end up directing me to sex sites or just general rubbish. I presume as they advertise as free.

Dont think we are allowed to post torrent type links but I use EZTV for most of my television viewing, fast and never had any problems

Forgot to give my views it frown

Pretty much the same as other readers of the emberverse series ,I would say they have used it as the baseline and added to the story to make it more TV friendly.
